Vintage Luggage

Working today for a gentleman in Hastings, and he restores vintage luggage, ball’s, bats and rackets, an extremely interesting chap to talk to.

He came to me through a referral from the BNI network that I’ve been a member of since September. He wanted the paint removed from the two black cases, so he can re-stencil them with period correct WWII writing and images.

The green case was an unknown, as to whether it was canvas or tin, as it really wasn’t obvious which it was, but much to his delight it was tin with a beautiful wood surround, so he’s guessing they’ll become one of two things, either period correct display items in a hotel or a shop, or turned in to lounge furniture.
